James and Rikki Geck have been foster parents with TFI since 2016. Over the years, the Gecks have fostered multiple children in their home, many in which were reintegrated with their biological families. The Gecks have also welcomed two adopted children into their family, and they are in the process of adopting their adopted child’s sister as well. Each of their children, both biological and adopted, have grown to love each other immensely as the Gecks have fostered a positive, loving, and safe environment for the children to grow in. The Gecks maintain connections to family and culture effectively and with grace for each of the children in their home. Over the years, Rikki has held positive relationships with biological parents, bridging with them and guiding them in the right direction. The Gecks have shown diligence in seeking information specific to the cultures of the children in their home as well. James and Rikki Geck are amazing foster parents, and TFI is immensely grateful to have the Gecks as a part of our family.
