Kansas
Andrew and Emily Hendrich opened their home to fostering in 2020. They are currently working through the adoption process for their first child, whom they’ve fostered for 5 years! They are always quick to get the kids in for any services they may need, no matter the location—even specialist appointments that are hours away.
Oklahoma
The Sullivans are very welcoming, loving and nurturing with each child placed in their home! They have been fostering for just over a year and always go above and beyond to ensure the needs of any child placed in their home are met. Less than five hours after their recent placement, they took him to the pediatrician to ensure his needs were addressed.
Nebraska
In March 2024, BobbiJo reached out on social media to ask about fostering. When dating, Allen and BobbiJo agreed that they both had a passion for fostering 9 years ago. Their life experiences and owning a licensed daycare make them the perfect TFI family!
Texas
Meet the Powell family, a vibrant clan of four whose journey from college sweethearts to dedicated parents has taken an inspiring turn toward fostering. With two spirited daughters, Alyssa and Sydney, and a backyard bustling with pets and chickens, their home embodies joy and adventure. In November 2024, their fostering journey officially began.

Recruitment Corner
Recruitment in February means showing our families love and support during winter. Here are some highlights:
Kansas
Our recruiters, Ashley and Shelby, made and delivered Valentine’s baskets for their local communities and they set up pay-it-forward events in their communities, as well!
Oklahoma
In Oklahoma, we hired a new recruiter! His name is Travis and he has hit the ground running as he talks with pastors in the Oklahoma City metro area. He also participated in the “Shine the Light” foster care information event in Pryor to educate and share the need for more foster homes.
Texas
In Texas, our recruiter, Traci, collaborated with local pizza shops to set up table tents and place box toppers on pizza boxes to share the need for more foster homes. She also held a “hands-on” booth at the Home and Garden Show in Wichita Falls, where the focus was planting seeds and expecting a harvest of safe, loving homes.
