Fernando Restrepo and Marisol Hurtado-Restrepo have been dedicated foster parents for five years. The family has two children of their own and many pets. They have taken young children to older teens, some with tough behaviors and they always manage them well, often giving kids who have bounced some stability.
Currently the family has dedicated themselves to caring for two sisters for well over a year. This has proven to be a challenge as the girls have significant mental health needs as well as tough behaviors. The family rarely asks for respite and ensures the girls feel like part of the family.
TFI is proud to have Fernando and Marisol as part of the TFI family and takes pride in knowing that children placed with them are shown kindness and compassion. Thank you both for your dedication and support to children in care.
