Clinical Director promoted to Vice President of Clinical Services, bringing her expertise to enhance outreach and make a meaningful impact.

The Family Initiative (TFI) is excited to announce the appointment of Sally Bosworth as the new vice president of clinical services. With a wealth of experience in the clinical field, Sally brings a strong background that will help uphold TFI’s mission.

Bosworth holds a Master of Social Work and a Master of Non-Profit Executive Leadership. Her experience includes running and expanding clinical outpatient programs and leading clinical teams in residential settings. Her vast knowledge and experience make her well-prepared to navigate and lead our clinical programs effectively.

“I am excited for what the addition of her leadership will mean for the future of Clinical Services at TFI, and the plan we have together to expand our outreach to more children and families,” said Melissa Wood, senior vice president of clinical and assessment services.

Prior to this new role, Bosworth served as a therapist at Pathway Family Services, an agency of TFI, Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) and later returned to TFI as the clinical director of our Lotus House Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) in Topeka. Her commitment to quality care and her strategic vision for clinical services make her an invaluable addition to our leadership team.

“My favorite thing about my job is the team I work with. My coworkers in all departments of TFI go above and beyond to ensure that we provide excellent service for all the children and families in our care. I appreciate being able to participate and look forward to supporting the innovations we have planned for the clinical department and agency overall,” said Bosworth.

Our clinical team offers a variety of services, including face-to-face sessions, telehealth, in-home sessions, and meetings in school settings. Our clinicians are trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), prioritize a client-centered approach, and strive to understand each family’s unique situation. We encourage parents in need of assistance to contact our clinical team for support in their specific areas.
