TFI is proud to announce the addition of Cynthia Reed as the new Vice President of Learning and Development. As a life-long Texan, Cynthia brings an exceptional wealth of knowledge and experience to her role, aimed at creating and leading a centralized learning and development department for TFI programs.
Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Hardin-Simmons University and has dedicated 28 years to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, with 15 of those years focused on learning and development. During her tenure, Cynthia played an integral role in leading the Child Protective Services Training Department at both the district and state levels.
Her experience also includes assisting in large implementation projects that have driven transformative changes in child welfare practices across Texas, including the groundbreaking Community-Based Care initiative and the Texas Child Centered Care System. “We are thrilled to welcome Cynthia as our new Vice President of Learning and Devlopment. Her passion for growth and commitment to excellence align with our mission and we are looking forward to the positive impact she will make,” Melissa Briggs, Chief Administrative Officer.
Cynthia will oversee TFI’s efforts to advance professional development opportunities, ensuring team members across all programs are equipped with the knowledge and skills to thrive in their roles.
