Objectives
- Love – Recognize and cherish each individual’s unique experiences and their commitment to positively impact children’s lives.
- Tolerance – Foster open-mindedness and address both the pleasant and challenging issues.
- Trauma-informed – Strive to help families shift their perspective from “what is wrong with you?” to “what happened to you?”
- Commitment – Demonstrate dedication by being prompt and fully engaged in our discussions.
- Honesty – Maintain transparency about issues that need to be addressed to improve the agency, foster parents, and the children they serve.
