Manhattan, KS (Dec. 14, 2023) – TFI Family Services, Inc. (TFI) is pleased to announce it has been awarded Family Preservation contracts in the Northwest and Southwest Regions by the Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF).
These contracts begin on July 1, 2024, and run through June 30, 2028. The Northwest and Southwest Regions comprise the western 65 counties in Kansas. TFI currently provides Family Preservation services in these same counties. TFI has extensive experience with prevention services, having provided Family Preservation services in Kansas since 2005.
TFI’s evidence-based, family-centered Family Preservation program is dedicated to keeping families safely intact. Through these contracts, TFI will continue to focus on our mission “Devoted to the Strength of Family,” as a resource to at-risk families.

In Fiscal Year 2023, TFI served more than 6,227 children in prevention, foster care, adoption, and residential services. TFI is actively recruiting foster families to provide a loving, caring home to children in foster care.
