Abilene, Texas (August 10, 2022) – TFI is pleased to announce Michael Ashford as the new Human Resources Manager.
Ashford has a master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Ashford University and has worked in the Human Resources field for more than six years. He has extensive experience in both staff recruitment and training.
As the Human Resources Manager, Ashford will be responsible for background checks for all new hires, as well as overseeing FMLA, workers compensation and unemployment. He will help create a great place to work by solving employee relation concerns and guiding leaders and staff in the right direction.
“Michael has been with the human resources department with us since December 2018,” Director of Human Resources, Della Kennedy said. “He has developed his skills and has worked diligently to promote to this position, and I believe he will make a positive impact on the agency in this new role.
