Wellington, KS – TFI is pleased to announce Amanda McKenney as the new Director of Permanency Services. She previously served as the Director of Permanency Services in the Independence, KS region, but was recently transferred to the Wellington & Kingman area. She will be responsible for overseeing case management service for Kansas children Barber, Harper, Kingman, Pratt and Sumner counties.
McKenney has more than 15 years of experience in Kansas child welfare. During this time she has worked in reintegration, adoption and foster care services.
“Amanda will continue to build strong community relationships in this new position. She is a proven leader with extensive knowledge in Kansas child welfare. We are excited to have her on the TFI team,” said Shaileen Owens, TFI Vice President of Permanency Services.
McKenney received her Bachelor of Social Work from Pittsburg University in 2006 and went on to earn a Master of Social Work from Wichita State University in 2010.
